Open Day & Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who came along to the NFNC Open day and fundraiser last weekend. Thank you in particular to Ivo Kornel for riding his bike to raise funds, Rotary New Farm for the great BBQ lunch and all of the volunteers and helpers that made the day such as success.

We had a great turnout and  (even with the rain) was fantastic to welcome new people into our lovely centre.

New Farm Neighbourhood Centre is privileged to welcome local Brisbane Central MP and Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs Robert Cavallucci as the Ambassador for the centre’s Patrons of New Farm Program.

The Patrons of New Farm are a dedicated network of socially conscious individuals committed to actively supporting the work of the New Farm Neighbourhood Centre. The Patrons of New Farm meet twice a year to network and to learn more about the lives of their neighbours,  the big issues affecting marginalised people in the local area and how they can help. As the Patrons Ambassador Robert will be attending Patrons networking events and promoting the program to the wider community. The New Farm Neighbourhood Centre is thrilled to have Robert involved and recognise his commitment to working towards social justice in our community.
