Tenant Advice & Advocacy Service is back in 2013! Please see flyer.
Other voices, other rooms is a digital story-telling project that captures life in Brisbane’s inner city boarding houses. Residents from local boarding houses and hostels share their stories, providing an insight into their experiences of shared living. These stories are rarely told. The project gives residents a voice and provides important information about rights and responsibilities when living in Rooming Accommodation.
Residential Service Project
TAAS has funding to provide residents of boarding houses, hostels and private aged care accommodation with a specialised service. The project worker provides advice, advocacy, community education and housing referral service to residents. The Residential Services Project is also involved in helping people if a boarding house closes.
